blast from the not so distant past (2008)

for as much traveling as i did in 2008, i didnt too much street art...maybe its because when i was traveling i was doing music, but i guess that shouldnt matter, and i should eat my excuses...i didnt do any wheatpast in 2008, or stencil (unless it was for an art show) it was a heavy time for stickers...there were many more i did not take pictures of...but who has time to take a picture of every sticker you slap...these are for the quick get away...the ninja slap...

hello my name is...


below was in front of the Press Club in Sacramento where the Burning of Rome had a gig...at some point in the night i stepped outside of the venue w/ Lee to get some fresh air and noticed 2 girls staring at this sticker...inside my head i started laughing...i turned back to Lee and before i knew it he started shouting "HEY! DONT TAKE THAT DOWN, HE JUST PUT THAT UP THERE!"haha she replied that she loved it and continued to try and rip the sticker off the pole...i was laughing, but Lee getting upset, says again, "yea but this guy is the guy who put that there!", i laughed again..and grabbed her the last sticker from my backpack...if i remember correctly her name was Lindsey and she worked at the upperplayground store in sacramento...i made 25 of these stickers, they wereall placed from Santa Cruz, San Fran, Sacramento, Berkley, and one rest on a canvas in San Jose.
